In character and Out, Brighthaven Ventures was founded on a principle of love for Etheirys and its people. We are a community focused Free Company that seeks to bring together people with a desire to help one another achieve their goals and explore the world of FFXIV in their own unique ways and with their own unique viewpoints.Perched on Eorzea's northern frontier, the Brighthaven Ventures headquarters serves as a waypoint and safe haven for adventurers on their way to explore Dravania, Ilsabard and beyond. More than that, it is a home for those who pursue excellence whether in battle or in craft, those who seek to understand the Star and those who dwell upon it, and those who want to leave a mark upon the world that will resonate through generations to come.In short, a home for heroes.

Arcade Games

Our Free Company offers a number of custom designed arcade games - Idyllshire JUMP, Double Dragoon, Bowling, Tale of the Zodiac Braves and G-Dance Revolution. A small gil fee is required to compensate one of our GMs for running the game.

Brighthaven Ventures is, ultimately, born from the unique talents of its members, each of them an honored, exceptional comrade.

Brighthaven Ventures is a mature, 18+ Free Company. All members are required to be 18 years or older. First and foremost, we are a Free Company operated by members of the LGBTQ+ community and we do not discriminate based on sexuality, gender, race or other demographic qualities.

RP Rules

Brighthaven Ventures RP is focused on lore compliant, mature RP of all genres. We recognize that there are Free Companies and RP groups that strictly adhere to an interpretation of the FFXIV canon that restricts certain concepts or character backgrounds. However, we prefer instead to follow the developers' philosophy and instead look at the canon in a reasoned and flexible manner, seeking ways to adapt our members' characters and stories to fit the world of Etheirys and the themes of FFXIV.If, for some reason, you have a problem with an FC member's backstory or lore, you are encouraged to contact the FC's leader and founder for a discussion of the appropriate lore.While we are an 18+ FC and do not associate with minors, we are not an ERP focused Free Company. We do not restrict our members from participating in any kind of RP they prefer, but ask that public RP interactions and discussions be kept to nonsexual topics.

Event & Social Rules

Brighthaven Ventures is an open and accepting Free Company, however we firmly believe in clear boundaries and rules.Our events are safe spaces for all attendees. Any harassment of an event attendee or FC member will result in immediate removal from the event. Additionally, any OOC expression of bigotry, whether racial, gender, sexual or otherwise motivated will result in an immediate removal. This includes the expression of political beliefs or opinions which align with hate groups and online harassment.If you are removed from one of our events, you will be banned from all future events.
